There are also a few light scratches on the inside, which I can ignore, but overall, I'm pretty disappointed in its quality and is wondering if I should return it. I purchased a YSL bag back in November, and when I came home and took it out of the bag I noticed that the monogram logo was all scratched up. I recently bought a YSL key holder to protect my leather bag interior from key scratches. Recently, I realized the YSL key holder logo protrudes so much. The store shipped it back to the "mothership" and they replaced it for me. That shouldn't be happening to hardware. For me, they said that there was a defect on the coating causing the metal to rust. You could try a polishing cloth for gold and silver hardware.
