I recently had the chance to have at home three different 6154, built using three different case sets. The first one is the cream 6154 based on the old River case set I already presented in the "Rust and Bones" thread HERE, second one is the newest Athaya case set and the last one is based on the new and improved River case. Bloor aka "Hammer", I was reminded to update my 2016 overview of all known examples of Ref. 6154. Obviously, the unbelievable patina on the dial and hands, coupled with the amazingly timeless lines of the Panerai 6154–not to mention the classic Rolex Brevet winding crown. Ralf captured the wonderfully aged brown “Radiomir Panerai” dial of this Ref. 6154 “Egiziano Piccolo” (small Egiziano). Faded Colors and cracked luminous markers and numbers are giving this watch a very Special appearance and unique look. I’m thinking about building vintage PAM 6154. Did some search and it seems case kits from Athaya and River were a good starting point some years back. Any expert to recommend: - case kit - dial and - hands for 6154 build in 2022? Should I go with Athaya? Any other options? Do any Viet makers have vintage PAM parts too?
