The question is whether Omega actually has the monthly sales record of that AD or had insisted on a receipt when the watch was purchased or had properly documented the serial number , date of purchase & date issue of warranty of that MKII (which has a 4 yr warranty period by the way ). Ultimately Omega will decide whether to honour your undated .

One watch was last year and the other was the year before that. One of those watches needed to go back (twice) and it was never an issue as the records were on file. 1. The only way to come close to a lifetime warranty is to have the watch serviced by Omega every time the warranty expires. It will come back with another 2-3 year warranty (depending on the model). But this is really a waste of your money, IMO, to service the watch earlier than every 5 years.
